
A boy from the neighborhood was happy to get a job in the office, but he was not so happy.
He graduated in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, but the current job has nothing to do with what he studied during his academic career. He thought it was useless to study so hard and then get into such a routine job.
I told him that this was just the beginning, as he still had a long way to go. He may not always stay at the same job, and who knows, his knowledge and skills may come in handy in another job.
Two points come here. If you feel sacred in making full use of your knowledge, choose that type of job. Second, even if you don’t get the job you want, you never know when your knowledge will need to be used on or off the job.
