Los biofotones : la luz de la vida.

At present, there is sufficient scientific evidence demonstrating cell communication via electromagnetic radiation, i.e. electromagnetic bioinformation. Cells emit light of low intensity—ultraweak photon emissions—biophotons, in constant and specific rhythms.

In addition, photon radiation would be the conductive basis of biologically important information in all living beings. In modern physics, the photon is the elementary particle responsible for quantum manifestations of the electromagnetic phenomenon.

It is the carrier particle of all forms of electromagnetic radiation, including gamma rays, X rays, ultraviolet light, visible light (electromagnetic spectrum), infrared light, microwaves and radio waves.

Light plays a key role in molecular processes exciting and modifying their energy levels from activated electronic states which involve the release and exchange of photons.
This exchange of light is what makes the biochemical reactions possible, so in addition to the cellular metabolic processes, exchange and transfer information through biophotons should also be included as essential features of life.

The evidence of information transmission from biological systems of biophotonic origin was developed by physicist Fritz-Albert Popp. Such ultraweak radiations are especially related to DNA molecule and have an important role in the regulation of biochemical processes and mitosis, cell communication, morphogenetic fields, and memory.

The spectral distribution of biophotons covers the range of 200–800 nanometres. Dr. FA Popp along with Dr. Klaus Peter Schlebusch, physician in Essen, Germany, demonstrated for the first time the presence of infrared radiation biophotons belonging to range of wide wavelength in human body structures that appeared to be identical to the meridian system described by the Chinese medicine.

This paper describes the scientific basis for a modern interpretation of the traditional concept of Qi from the physical concept of biophotons. In addition, the article will examine current scientific findings according to which one may relate biophotons and connective tissue, and their relationship with the meridian system.

This could indicate that the meridians described by Chinese medicine are like fiber optic cables that carry large amount of bioinformation in the form of biophotons and with the function, among others, of contributing to the regulation and organization of biological systems.

Without liquid crystals there would be no life. Even the simplest single-celled
creature has an outer skin whose fabric is liquid crystalline. It is this
skin that forms the membrane separating the inner workings of the cell from
its surroundings.

More complex life forms, such as human beings, use liquid
crystalline membranes for a vast variety of biological processes, for example,
transmitting nerve impulses and digesting fats.

You might be surprised to find out that cell membranes are liquid crystals.
In fact, the first recorded observations of the liquid crystalline phase
were of myelin, the material that coats nerve fibres.

In 1855, a German ophthalmologist called C. Mettenheimer was studying myelin under a polarising microscope, and noted that, although it flowed like a liquid, it was brightly
coloured, or ‘birefringent’ like a crystal when viewed between crossed polarisers
(see ‘The fourth state of matter’, New Scientist, 4 May).

Apparently biophotons are used by the cells of many living organisms to communicate, which facilitates energy/information transfer that is several orders of magnitude faster than chemical diffusion. According to a 2010 study, “Cell to cell communication by biophotons have been demonstrated in plants, bacteria, animal neutriophil granulocytes and kidney cells.”

Researchers were able to demonstrate that “different spectral light stimulation (infrared, red, yellow, blue, green and white) at one end of the spinal sensory or motor nerve roots resulted in a significant increase in the biophotonic activity at the other end.”

What is light composed of?

The smallest known unit of light, and of electromagnetic radiation, is the photon.

It is part of the spectrum of electromagnetic radiation, which includes all light, microwaves, radio waves and x rays.

A photon is emitted when an electron moves from one energy state to another.

When a photon is emitted by a biological source, it is referred to as a biophoton.

Biophotons Show We Are Made Of Light.

A biophoton or Ultra-weak Photon Emission, (UPE) is a kind of light particle that is emitted by all living things. Though it exists in the visible and ultraviolet spectrum, in order for us to see it, our eyes would have to be about 1,000 times more sensitive.

Experiments are showing that biophotons (UPEs) can be captured and stored inside of cells and can even travel through our nervous system; suggesting that biophotons might provide a way for cells to transfer energy and communicate information. It’s has also been suggested that UPEs might even have properties which help us to visualize images.

Scientists are finding that our DNA is a strong source of UPEs, it communicates with and is created from light itself! It’s been observed that DNA produces extremely high biophoton emissions and has excimer laser-like properties.
