Overwhelm…

It’s vital to realise that emotions of overwhelm will fade. They are mostly present in your thoughts. Finding answers is the greatest method to alleviate these emotions. Make a list of your issues and devise a strategy to solve each one. Then, one by one, take them on.

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, you should learn to trust yourself. Believe in your own abilities to get through difficult situations. Remember that you have conquered challenges before, and you can do so again. This is essential to remember.

If life becomes too overwhelming, do not be afraid to seek assistance. Seeking aid demonstrates strength rather than weakness. Reaching out allows you to lessen some of your responsibilities. It is also an expression of self-love and care.

When everything feels too much, the world may be telling you to calm down and reevaluate your life. Feeling overwhelmed is a totally natural sensation. Use it as a gentle reminder to save your energy so you may keep giving to the planet.

My answer :

No Mud, No Lotus

The Art of Transforming Suffering

No Mud, No Lotus introduces ways to be in touch with suffering without being overwhelmed by it. “When we know how to suffer,” Nhat Hanh says, “we suffer much, much less.” With his signature clarity and sense of joy, Thay helps us recognise the wonders inside us and around us that we tend to take for granted and teaches us the art of happiness.

The secret to happiness is to acknowledge and transform suffering, not to run away from it. In No Mud, No Lotus, Thich Nhat Hanh offers practices and inspiration transforming suffering and finding true joy.

Thich Nhat Hanh acknowledges that because suffering can feel so bad, we try to run away from it or cover it up by consuming. We find something to eat or turn on the television. But unless we’re able to face our suffering, we can’t be present and available to life, and happiness will continue to elude us.

Thay shares how the practices of stopping, mindful breathing, and deep concentration can generate the energy of mindfulness within our daily lives. With that energy, we can embrace pain and calm it down, instantly bringing a measure of freedom and a clearer mind.

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh is a global spiritual leader, poet and peace activist, revered around the world for his pioneering teachings on mindfulness, global ethics and peace.

Change is the sole constant in life, as certain as sun follows night. Simply observe the changing seasons or the development of a little sapling into a great oak. To fight change is like attempting to halt the tide — ineffective and impeding personal progress.

Consider a relationship in which one person develops and progresses while the other stays stagnant, hesitant to venture outside of their comfort zone to heal past wounds. It’s like seeing a flower wither because it refuses to grasp for the sun.

Most individuals are resistant to change because it shakes their reality like an unexpected storm, causing fear, wrath, and anxiety. However, these early tremors are frequently the precursors to more profound upheavals. It is only the first act, not the endgame. Allow it to unfold in the manner of an unexpected story twist. (Beautiful thought !).

I implore you to let go of the drama and allow room for change to come into your life. It is human nature to be suspicious and afraid of change. When you’re caught off guard, it’s natural to lash out. I want you to pay attention to your reactions to disturbances and be compassionate with yourself — turn off the self-critical recording.

Instead of rejecting change, consider analysing your emotional weather. By becoming aware of our inner landscapes, we can surf the tides of change without being carried away.!!!

And this :

Many people feel that their biological family is the only family they have, however this is not always the case. Making the decision to leave your biological family permanently might be difficult, but it should not prevent you from making your own decisions. This approach may be frowned upon in many areas, yet it is critical to make your own choices. (Indeed!)

We do not have to allow our family history, rituals, and traditions define us or dictate how we live. Nobody teaches us this because people are naturally sociable. We do not have to endure simply because previous generations did. Instead, we may learn from their experiences and apply it to our own life. (I love this thought, it requires courage and self-care).

“My life changed from being drab and grey to being a world full of joy and vivid colours when I ultimately came to terms with the fact that I cannot control the things that happen around me. I started to value the little things in life, such as those lovely strolls in the sunshine and the sensation of the sun’s warmth on my skin.

I’ve come to see how rich and meaningful life can be through such straightforward experiences. I feel so appreciative of my path when I set small, realistic goals and follow my passions.”

And this :

Don’t be afraid to take risks and get out of your comfort zone; consider it as having sushi for the first time, even if raw fish seems daunting. Don’t let your fear of being judged keep you from experiencing the joy and inspiration that life has to offer.

Stand tall with the assurance that your voice counts. Imagine you’re on the stage of life with a narrative to tell — your aspirations, ideas, and soul are worthy of an audience and applause.

We’ve all fantasised about who we want to be, hoping for that perfect day when all the stars align. Take the leap of faith, even if your knees are knocking. Don’t put off being genuine to yourself. (Beautiful thought).

Thanks my friend. Peace and LOVE to you.
