How do you know that you, as an individual, have unique thoughts? What if you are connected to a stream of images that continuously flow through the collective consciousness of humanity, and how many of those images are caught and realised depends solely on the individual’s visualising ability and that thinking may fluctuate depending on training, mood or the time of the day and how fine-mashed the mind is for catching the precise images out of the endless stream? In contrast, may we assume that what we know depends entirely on the capacity for storage in the brain for further usage.

Irrationalities are borne out of our inability to observe our experiences objectively and the unwillingness to revise our former beliefs accordingly. But under the influence of an unrepentant ego, even the insightful might be led astray.
