Before everything remains the tenderness which is awareness of the fact that beyond every dark and gray sky shines the bright blue of a pure and boundless sky.
The tenderness of a gaze that embraces time, welcomes it, entrusts itself and is not afraid because it knows that only in the meekness and goodness of every relationship with creation is it possible to live everything in dignity, from joy to pain, from sacrifice to contentment of one’s being.
The tenderness of the little things that dwell in the heart and which wickedness and interest do not corrupt, nor anger and wrath strike because the little things are indestructible, are the roots of that good which if only we cultivated more could make every harvest more beautiful and complete of daily living.
